Founded by veteran Derrick J. Moten, an Air Force Veteran with over a decade of combined military and contracting experience specializing in Aircrew Flight Equipment (AFE) and mission-critical life support systems. Across his career, Derrick has worked hands-on with some of the most advanced aviation platforms in the U.S. inventory—including the F-15, F-16, CV-22 Osprey, UH-1 Huey, and UH-72 Lakota—ensuring pilots and crews are protected by equipment that meets the highest safety and performance standards. His expertise spans inspection, repair, fabrication, and program management of parachutes, flotation devices, survival kits, G-suits, and other critical systems essential to flight safety.
After seven years of honorable service in the U.S. Air Force, Derrick transitioned his skills into the private sector, continuing to support military readiness both stateside and abroad, including contracts in Saudi Arabia and South Korea. His reputation is built on precision, accountability, and discipline, values that define his work and leadership.
As the founder of TENK Enterprise, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, Derrick leads a team dedicated to providing Aircrew Life Support and Equipment services, product management, and government contracting solutions. Under his leadership, TENK Enterprise has expanded into procurement, technology development, and consulting, always driven by the mission to serve those who serve.
Derrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Audio Production, a background that strengthens his ability to bridge technical expertise with innovation. His dual experience in aviation life support and technology development positions him uniquely to deliver solutions that evolve with both the defense sector and modern business needs.
